Weigh in Wednesdays

Hello...
Remember that goal of mine not to eat candy until Valentine's day?
I failed... about a handful of times!
But who's counting anyways?
I weighed myself this morning and I took a photo.
I was going to post it until i realized that my scale is a mirror. What the heck?!
So I will spare you the crazy photo and just tell you my weight :)
136.
I weighed myself twice and this was the higher of the two weights.
So I will go with that :)
With my height (5'3") my ideal weight would be 123 pounds.
That is on the low side of the healthy weight, but I would rather be on the lower side :)
Although I will say I am not unhappy with my current weight
I just feel that I am choosing unhealthy habits and
I would like to nip it in the bud before it gets out of control.
I'm sure some of you can relate!?
Eating right is hard when there is so much junk food right at your fingertips!
It doesn't help that a certain someone is turning 6 tomorrow and I was told to make
vanilla cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles!
Who can say no to the birthday girl?

Yay for you Trish! I love the whole weigh in Wed idea!

I started my journey last year and am proud to say as of today I'm down 39.2 pounds.

One of the big things for me to realize is that I want a healthy way of life. My plan is to reach goal this year and continue eating healthy for life. There's no turning back now.

I will not be posting today, but I will keep this in mind in the weeks to come.

Hey girly,
I started my healthy living diet on sunday the 1st.. So my next weigh in is this coming sunday.. I am on a 1200 calorie a day dieting and am doing great and feel great :)...

I am 5'3 and weigh 133! We are very similar. I feel bloated and unhealthy. I want so badly to eat right. So I am just working on portion control and I started the couch to 5k- I love it (the app is great) . 123 sounds ideal to me too: ) keep it up- you can do it!!

I am 5'7" and 136. I started the South Beach Diet (I've done it many times since after having kids) on Jan. 1 and am down 3.5 lbs so far. I am also exercising (resistance and cardi). I just want to feel healthy and limber. I don't feel right when I have some extra fat hanging on. Feels all YUCK! I have no idea what my idea weight should be. Where did you find that info? I usually feel fairly comfortable at 130, but still feel like my thighs are too big. Good luck on your journey. I know it's so hard when you have to make cupcakes and other goodeis!
