sometimes Computers are dumb!!!
I'm home today and I can't seem to balance my checkbook. I can't take it into the bank because I have a sick kid so therefore I've been spending my past hour trying to sign up for on-line banking. I filled out all my info, triple checked it and hit submit. Tried to sign in and it's saying it can't let me. So I call the lovely 800 # and she is very nice and then tries to inform me that I spelled my last name wrong.
"Hmmm", I say, "I'm pretty sure I didn't spell my last name wrong, but if you say it is spelled wrong then I guess it's spelled wrong."
She continues to tell me that I didn't push a capitol I, {our last name starts with an I} I pushed a lower case L. So she said she would cancel it out and I could try again, "Just make sure you push the capitol I this time."
So, you guessed it, I went through the process again, this time really making sure I pushed the I not the L. Checked it over until my eyes were going cross and then submitted it. and Yep, you guessed it again, I couldn't sign on. So I call them back up again and now I'm talking to a different lady and she isn't as nice. This is how it went down...
"Hi, I can't seem to sign onto my new account, could you please tell me what the issue is?!"
"Sure, please hold while I pull up the screen." Waiting and waiting while she is telling me, "it will only take me a few minutes, it's going slow today."
It goes slow everyday IMO
"Okay" she says, "It looks like you gave us the wrong phone number."
"Hmmm, What phone number do you have?"
So she proceeds to read off a phone number that we have never had, and tells me that the one that I put on the application is the wrong one, which is not it is the right one and the one she has is the wrong one. Frustration is building!!!!
"Okay, then what should I do?"
"Oh and it looks like you spelled your last name wrong."
"No, I didn't spell my last name wrong. It is spelled with an I."
"I know," she says, "but you typed in a lower case L"
"NO, I DIDN'T!!! I know how to spell my last name and I know what an I vs. an L looks like. What do you suggest I do then so I can get online to view my statement?"
"Well, I can cancel it out for you again and you should just use the wrong phone number, since that is in my system and then you should hit the I button instead of the L button."
Oh my gosh I was getting irate!
She wondered if I wanted her to walk me through the application, and I said, "NO." and that was the end of that.
All of that, because I couldn't balance my checkbook :) Well, it's balanced now and I still am not online to view my statements, because they think I can't spell my last name and don't know my phone number!
On the flip side, I've been spending my morning trying my hardest to dwindle those "lovely" piles that seem to just appear before my very eyes. {i loathe them} Anyways, my Lainie is off sick today with a nasty cough, runny nose thing and so I decided to get a lot done in the way of my house. Yes, I love Etsy and creating and all that comes with it, but with me being gone 7 hours a day, everyday, my house gets...how do you say...NEGLECTED!!! On top of the neglecting I am in the process of moving bedrooms around, so let me fill in the blank for you with all those piles around my house...

okay so that should give you an idea at how messy my house is! gee now that I'm writing it down it's a tad bit embarrassing!
Well, now here is my list of things on my to-do list!
- Organize all the piles :)
- get dressed today :)
- start putting lights on our tree
- finish painting bedroom ceiling
- touch up all holes and paint in the girls new bedroom
- vacuum/sweep/mop
- continue to move my bedroom furniture from the living room to my room :)
That might be all? I know I won't get it all done today, but hopefully I'll get a handle on it! Wish me luck, cause I'm gonna need it!
These were so fun to make. You have to have patience! They are my girls finger prints and then I let them draw the arms. I then modge podged the paper onto the glass bubbles and then super-glued a really strong magnet on the back. I also wrote the girls names on the back with the year! All the grandparents, aunts and uncles got a set :) They loved them!!! It really only took about an hour total. The kids loved this activity!!!!
This was my super fun, easy sewing project for Christmas... Tissue cozies. I got the tutorial here. Best part was everyone LOVED them!
